On 1 October of 2005, at National Academy of Dance, in Rome, the Gala Choreo-Event EATING ART is organized by the Food Sciences Institute of the University of Rome Sapienza, in collaboration with Plexus International Forum Onlus and the National of Academy of Dance. The event is directed by Joseph Fontano as a journey through the Italian food patrimony to underline the healthy lifestyle of the Mediterranean Diet. This initiative is made as a creative contribution to the recent recommendation by the European Commission for common action on diet, physical activity and health. “Eating Art” is part of the travelling international event “Erosions and Renaissance Show” organized by Plexus International, committed to draw more attention on the erosion of the world’s cultural patrimony. It featured performances by Luca Di Paolo, Maria Grazia Lanzafame, Sebastian Comelli and Giuseppe Albinati, Giancarlo Schiaffini.
